WHY IIHSR University?

In 2021, the IIHSR University underwent a name change.

The International European University has recently undergone a division, with one section of the university officially announcing a new name as the International Institute of Higher Education and Research (IIHSR University). The name change reflects a new era for our institution, as it diversifies its offering beyond countries and cultures . The institution, originally founded in 2015 as The International European University, has a long history of offering higher education for more than 9 years. It has maintained conservatoire status for a considerable period, being one of the founding members of the IIHSR Foundation group. Dedicated to ensuring global access to higher education, in 2021 it achieved the milestone of becoming the premier online university in Europe to eliminate Digital Library fees for all students, thereby enhancing accessibility to established digital libraries.

IIHSR University announces new name to better reflect its second city heritage

The Online Classroom

International European University, recently named number 11 in the European Online Higher Education for student satisfaction* in the Global European Student Survey, will officially change its name to IIHSR European University.

Professor Jackie J Hoffman,Director ,IIHSR Education Foundation , said:

“The name change reflects the University’s aim to better identify with the dynamic and ambitious city of European Distance Education sector. This is a significant development for the University, coming at an exciting time after the successful launch of our Doctoral studies of different regions and Business Management.”

IIHSR , the University was founded in 2017 as Newman College as an IIHSR Higher Education Center and then achieved full Online University status in 2019, accredited by IACHE,U.S ,then developed the tutorial system which is used across the university sector. Today,IIHSR European University offers a wide range of foundation, undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral online degree courses with affordable fee structure, with subjects including Business Management,Relegious Studies Law Psychology and other different topics.

Credit for Prior Learning: IIHSR does not guarantee transferability of credit. See the University Catalog for the Prior Learning policy.

Three-Week Trial: Classes count toward a degree if satisfactorily completed. No credits are earned if the student withdraws during the introductory period (3 weeks for new qualifying undergraduate students), which begins day one of the first term. Students who choose to continue their studies will need to meet specific requirements. Additional terms may apply to international and non-Swiss. citizen students.
