At IIHSR European University, our academic structure is designed to recognize and certify the existing expertise, research ability, and professional excellence of experienced individuals.
Our programs—particularly at the Master’s and Doctoral (PhD) levels—are not conventional classroom-based degrees. Instead, they focus on deep independent research, professional application, and the demonstration of advanced knowledge before the Academic Council.
🧭 Core Concept
The IIHSR academic model is based on the philosophy that education is a demonstration of mastery, not just attendance. Therefore, our students—often working professionals, educators, researchers, or industry experts—are expected to prove their academic and professional competence through structured evaluation processes, rather than traditional coursework.
🧠 The Research-Based Evaluation System
Every student must prove eligibility to receive a Master’s or Doctoral award by successfully completing a combination of research assessments. These assessments are evaluated and approved by the Academic Council of IIHSR European University.
🔍 Purpose of the Program
The goal of each IIHSR program is not to teach new material, but to validate and recognize what you already know and practice.
It is a platform for professionals who already possess substantial expertise and experience in their respective fields—and who seek formal academic recognition through research validation and scholarly assessment.
🏛️ Academic Council Recognition
Once your submitted work and evaluations are successfully reviewed, the Academic Council issues a formal Recommendation Letter, certifying that you have met the university’s research and academic standards for the respective degree.
Following the Council’s recommendation, your Doctorate or Master’s Degree is officially awarded and issued in digital verifiable format, complete with QR verification for authenticity.

🎓 Process of Earning a Master’s or Doctoral Degree at IIHSR European University
At IIHSR European University, both Master’s and Doctoral (Ph.D.) programs follow a competency-based, research-driven model.
Unlike traditional classroom programs, the IIHSR model focuses on evaluation of knowledge, research ability, and professional achievement — proving that the candidate is academically and professionally qualified for the degree before the Academic Council.
🧭 Step-by-Step Process
1️⃣ Application & Eligibility Review
You begin by applying online or via PDF application.
You will submit your academic qualifications, professional experience, and contributions in your field.
The Admissions Department will assess whether you meet the initial eligibility criteria for a Master’s or Doctoral program.
If approved, you receive a University Enrollment Number (UEN) and official confirmation of program admission.
2️⃣ Fee Concession / Scholarship (Optional)
Eligible candidates may apply for fee concession or regional scholarship based on their economic or professional background.
This must be approved before starting the academic phase.
3️⃣ Academic Assignment or Research Thesis
Once admitted, the real academic evaluation begins.
You are required to demonstrate your knowledge and research capability through one or more of the following:
- A Research Thesis (for doctoral candidates usually 8,000–20,000 words)
- Personalized Q&A Assessment (analytical responses to subject-related questions)
- Objective or Multiple-Choice Test (testing your approach and conceptual mastery)
- Defense Presentation – either via video presentation or a written defense report
Your submission must reflect originality, analytical ability, and understanding of your discipline.
4️⃣ Evaluation by the Academic Council
The Academic Council reviews and scores your submissions based on:
- Relevance to the chosen field
- Research depth and originality
- Clarity and professional presentation
- Practical contribution or innovation
If your research work meets doctoral standards, the Council certifies that you have successfully proved your eligibility for the Doctoral (Ph.D.) degree.
5️⃣ Recommendation Letter
Once approved, the Academic Council issues an official Recommendation Letter confirming your academic eligibility and recommending you for degree conferment.
Only after this recommendation is received do you proceed to the certification stage.
6️⃣ Certification Stage (After Approval)
You will then be instructed to pay the final certification fee (after any concession).
Once payment confirmation is received, the University will issue:
- 🎓 Doctoral Certificate (Ph.D.)
- 🏛️ Academic Council Recommendation Letter
- 📄 Supporting Documents
All documents are issued in high-quality digital format with a QR code verification system.
They are suitable for printing and official use.

🏅 Doctoral Degree Focus
For Ph.D. candidates, the process is primarily a research validation process —
You are not learning new content, but proving that you already possess the scholarly ability to research, analyze, and contribute new knowledge to your field.
The moment your work satisfies the standards of the IIHSR Academic Council, you are deemed academically eligible and your Doctoral (Ph.D.) degree is awarded accordingly.
🏅 Honorary Doctorate Programs
IIHSR European University also confers Honorary Doctorate Degrees (Honoris Causa) to individuals who have made exceptional contributions in their respective fields — including science, education, leadership, public health, social work, business, arts, or innovation.
Just like research-based doctorates, the Honorary Doctorate Program involves evaluation and verification by the Academic Council.
Candidates are required to prove their significant achievements and impact before the Council through documentation, interviews, or presentations.
📘 Evaluation of Honorary Candidates
To ensure authenticity and integrity, the Academic Council may request:
- A summary of contributions or achievements,
- A brief research or reflective presentation to demonstrate deep understanding and insight into the field,
- Supporting documents such as publications, awards, or community projects.
Only after the Academic Council’s approval will the Honorary Doctorate be formally recommended and awarded.
