University Assessment Test (UAT)

About Our Admission Policy

At IIHSR European University, we believe that higher education should be reserved for those with genuine merit and dedication. Our admissions are based entirely on academic excellence or demonstrated professional contributions and experience within your field.

Admission is highly selective, with only 30% of applicants successfully admitted each year, ensuring that our programs maintain the highest academic and professional standards.

We are proud to provide 100% free education for eligible students — with no admission fees, tuition fees, or research guidance costs. Every opportunity is granted solely on the basis of merit, empowering deserving candidates worldwide.

Merit-Based Admission and Academic Council Evaluation

Admissions Evaluation

At IIHSR European University, the pursuit of higher learning is founded upon merit, integrity, and academic contribution. Our admission process is not determined by financial capacity, but rather by the demonstrated academic excellence, professional achievements, and contributions to one’s field of expertise.

Admission into our programs is highly selective, with only approximately 30% of applicants being accepted annually. This ensures that the limited opportunities we provide are reserved for candidates of exceptional promise and commitment.

Evaluation Framework

All applications undergo a rigorous review conducted by the IIHSR Academic Council, an independent body of scholars and professionals. The Council carefully examines:

  • Academic Merit: Prior degrees, published research, scholarly achievements, and demonstrated intellectual rigor.

  • Professional Contributions: Leadership roles, innovations, and measurable impact in one’s field or community.

  • Relevant Experience: Years of practice, professional recognition, and documented expertise equivalent to formal academic credentials.

Commitment to Equal Access

In recognition of the global disparities in access to education, IIHSR proudly provides a tuition-free model. No admission fee, tuition fee, or research guidance cost is charged at any stage of study. Successful applicants are admitted entirely on the strength of their merit, with the University assuming full responsibility for providing academic support, supervision, and scholarly resources.

Through this model, we affirm our mission: to make higher education a privilege earned through excellence, not a commodity purchased through financial means.

What Our Students Have to Say

" I was able to complete a portfolio, which gave me 26 extra credits. By then, I was well on my way to obtaining my MBM quicker"

-Muhammad Rashid ,

Business Professional,

Singapore

How Is My College Credit for Work Experience Evaluation

A key criterion in  IIHSR University’s evaluation of your portfolio is your ability to organize and present verifiable evidence of college-level learning through proper documentation. You must also include a narrative that explains the rationale for the claim for credit.

Supporting documentation may include:

  • Job description and performance evaluations
  • Certifications (evidence of licenses, training records, ranks)
  • Work samples such as computer code, lesson plans, or proposals
  • Description of the work environment
  • Verification of knowledge, skills, and abilities by a supervisor or employer
  • Other appropriate forms of documentation verifying learning

Assessments of Skills & Knowledge

You can earn credits by passing standardized exams that require you to demonstrate your prior knowledge in IIHSR University course. Use the knowledge and skills that you already have to pass exams and earn college credit at University. You can complete an Assessment of Skills and Knowledge (ASK) directly through University or complete a standardized exam through approved organizations outside of the University.

Demonstrate proficiency in the learning outcomes of specific IIHSR University courses by passing a comprehensive assessment, which is similar to a college equivalency exam. Purdue Global Assessments of Skills and Knowledge, also known as "ASKs" can be used to waive prerequisites, determine class placement, and earn college credit.

Undergraduate students can test out of a course and still earn credit by attaining a predetermined score on an Assessment of Skills and Knowledge. In addition, students enrolled in the following graduate programs may apply Assessment of Skills and Knowledge credit toward select courses:

Not all courses provide this option, and Assessments of Skills and Knowledge or their equivalent from other colleges or universities will not be accepted.  Official results of Assessments of Skills and Knowledge must be received by the Office of the Registrar prior to your final term.

Open Learning Courses

Here are some ways to take control of your education in a supportive, online environment:

  • Organize previous work and life experiences that can be evaluated for college credit*
  • Enroll in free and low-cost open learning courses
  • Get introduced to the learning outcomes of the instructor-led equivalent courses
  • Complete assessments for eligible courses and earn credit through Purdue Global

All of the open learning courses are self-paced and may include interactions with advisors where appropriate.

Experiential Credits

IIHSR University encourages students to enroll in Pathway to College Credit—Portfolio Development, an open, self-paced course for learners who are interested in earning undergraduate credit for learning acquired outside of the classroom.

This comprehensive course guides you through the process of creating an experiential learning portfolio to showcase the knowledge you already possess. Because this course is offered in an “open” format, there is no cost for the course and no instructor.

🎓 How IIHSR European University Study Programs Work

How it works

At IIHSR European University, our academic structure is designed to recognize and certify the existing expertise, research ability, and professional excellence of experienced individuals.

Our programs—particularly at the Master’s and Doctoral (PhD) levels—are not conventional classroom-based degrees. Instead, they focus on deep independent research, professional application, and the demonstration of advanced knowledge before the Academic Council.

🧭 Core Concept

The IIHSR academic model is based on the philosophy that education is a demonstration of mastery, not just attendance. Therefore, our students—often working professionals, educators, researchers, or industry experts—are expected to prove their academic and professional competence through structured evaluation processes, rather than traditional coursework.

🧠 The Research-Based Evaluation System

Every student must prove eligibility to receive a Master’s or Doctoral award by successfully completing a combination of research assessments. These assessments are evaluated and approved by the Academic Council of IIHSR European University.

  1.

🔍 Purpose of the Program

The goal of each IIHSR program is not to teach new material, but to validate and recognize what you already know and practice.
It is a platform for professionals who already possess substantial expertise and experience in their respective fields—and who seek formal academic recognition through research validation and scholarly assessment.

🏛️ Academic Council Recognition

Once your submitted work and evaluations are successfully reviewed, the Academic Council issues a formal Recommendation Letter, certifying that you have met the university’s research and academic standards for the respective degree.

Following the Council’s recommendation, your Doctorate or Master’s Degree is officially awarded and issued in digital verifiable format, complete with QR verification for authenticity.

.

🎓 Process of Earning a Master’s or Doctoral Degree at IIHSR European University

At IIHSR European University, both Master’s and Doctoral (Ph.D.) programs follow a competency-based, research-driven model.
Unlike traditional classroom programs, the IIHSR model focuses on evaluation of knowledge, research ability, and professional achievement — proving that the candidate is academically and professionally qualified for the degree before the Academic Council.

🧭 Step-by-Step Process

1️⃣ Application & Eligibility Review

You begin by applying online or via PDF application.
You will submit your academic qualifications, professional experience, and contributions in your field.
The Admissions Department will assess whether you meet the initial eligibility criteria for a Master’s or Doctoral program.

If approved, you receive a University Enrollment Number (UEN) and official confirmation of program admission.

2️⃣ Fee Concession / Scholarship (Optional)

Eligible candidates may apply for fee concession or regional scholarship based on their economic or professional background.
This must be approved before starting the academic phase.

3️⃣ Academic Assignment or Research Thesis

Once admitted, the real academic evaluation begins.
You are required to demonstrate your knowledge and research capability through one or more of the following:

  • A Research Thesis (for doctoral candidates usually 8,000–20,000 words)

  • Personalized Q&A Assessment (analytical responses to subject-related questions)

  • Objective or Multiple-Choice Test (testing your approach and conceptual mastery)

  • Defense Presentation – either via video presentation or a written defense report

Your submission must reflect originality, analytical ability, and understanding of your discipline.

4️⃣ Evaluation by the Academic Council

The Academic Council reviews and scores your submissions based on:

  • Relevance to the chosen field

  • Research depth and originality

  • Clarity and professional presentation

  • Practical contribution or innovation

If your research work meets doctoral standards, the Council certifies that you have successfully proved your eligibility for the Doctoral (Ph.D.) degree.

5️⃣ Recommendation Letter

Once approved, the Academic Council issues an official Recommendation Letter confirming your academic eligibility and recommending you for degree conferment.

Only after this recommendation is received do you proceed to the certification stage.

6️⃣ Certification Stage (After Approval)

You will then be instructed to pay the final certification fee (after any concession).
Once payment confirmation is received, the University will issue:

  • 🎓 Doctoral Certificate (Ph.D.)

  • 🏛️ Academic Council Recommendation Letter

  • 📄 Supporting Documents

All documents are issued in high-quality digital format with a QR code verification system.
They are suitable for printing and official use.

.

🧠 Summary: How It Works

EvaluationReviewed by Academic Council5. RecommendationOfficial approval for award6. CertificationPay certification fee & receive documents7. ConfermentReceive your official Ph.D./Master’s award

🏅 Doctoral Degree Focus

For Ph.D. candidates, the process is primarily a research validation process —

You are not learning new content, but proving that you already possess the scholarly ability to research, analyze, and contribute new knowledge to your field.

The moment your work satisfies the standards of the IIHSR Academic Council, you are deemed academically eligible and your Doctoral (Ph.D.) degree is awarded accordingly.

🏅 Honorary Doctorate Programs

IIHSR European University also confers Honorary Doctorate Degrees (Honoris Causa) to individuals who have made exceptional contributions in their respective fields — including science, education, leadership, public health, social work, business, arts, or innovation.

Just like research-based doctorates, the Honorary Doctorate Program involves evaluation and verification by the Academic Council.
Candidates are required to prove their significant achievements and impact before the Council through documentation, interviews, or presentations.

📘 Evaluation of Honorary Candidates

To ensure authenticity and integrity, the Academic Council may request:

  • A summary of contributions or achievements,

  • A brief research or reflective presentation to demonstrate deep understanding and insight into the field,

  • Supporting documents such as publications, awards, or community projects.

Only after the Academic Council’s approval will the Honorary Doctorate be formally recommended and awarded.

🌍 Designed for Working Professionals

The study model of IIHSR European University has been uniquely crafted to meet the needs of experienced professionals, executives, educators, researchers, and public servants who are already contributing to their fields.

Rather than following the traditional classroom approach, IIHSR focuses on recognition through research and validation of professional expertise. This means that learners do not need to "learn from the beginning" but instead must demonstrate mastery, critical thinking, and applied knowledge before the Academic Council through guided academic evaluation.

IIHSR’s programs are flexible, self-paced, and fully online, allowing working individuals to balance their career responsibilities, family life, and academic goals without disruption.

Candidates are encouraged to apply the principles and frameworks from their real-world experience directly into their research or project submissions — turning their professional achievements into academically recognized evidence of competence.

This model recognizes that:

  • Professional experience is a form of lived scholarship.

  • Real impact in a field is as valuable as classroom study.

  • Research can be both theoretical and applied, reflecting the realities of work environments.

Through this unique system, IIHSR enables qualified professionals to earn globally recognized Master’s and Doctoral degrees by proving their knowledge, skill, and contribution — rather than merely attending classes.

Each candidate undergoes a personalized evaluation process that may include:

  • Submission of a research thesis or professional dissertation.

  • Answering a set of critical reflection questions on their field.

  • Completing a professional aptitude review or oral/video defense.

Once the Academic Council validates their submission, the candidate is formally recommended for degree conferment — ensuring the award reflects genuine merit and expertise.
