Program Structure (Research-Based Curriculum)

The Doctor of Ayurvedic Medicine (DAM) is a research-oriented doctoral program designed for healthcare professionals, Ayurveda practitioners, researchers, and educators who wish to advance their knowledge in Ayurvedic medicine through independent study and research.

Research Paper Requirement

Candidates are required to prepare and submit one original research paper or dissertation in an approved area of Ayurvedic Medicine. The research should demonstrate analytical ability, evidence-based practice, and academic contribution to the field.

Evaluation System

The DAM program includes two formal evaluation tests:

Evaluation Test 1

Covers Modules 1–3
Online written assessment
Minimum passing score: 60%

Evaluation Test 2

Covers Modules 4–6
Comprehensive online assessment
Minimum passing score: 60%

Award Requirements

To qualify for the Doctor of Ayurvedic Medicine (DAM), candidates must successfully:

Complete all six academic modules.
Pass both evaluation tests.
Submit and obtain approval for the final research paper/dissertation.
Demonstrate competency in professional and ethical Ayurvedic practice.

Doctor of Yoga Therapy (DYTh)

Research-Based Doctoral Curriculum (Working Professionals)

The Doctor of Yoga Therapy (DYTh) is a research-oriented doctoral program designed for healthcare professionals, yoga practitioners, therapists, educators, and wellness experts who wish to advance their knowledge in therapeutic yoga and holistic health. The curriculum emphasizes evidence-based practice, research, and the integration of yoga into preventive and rehabilitative healthcare.

Foundations of Yoga Philosophy and Yogic Science
- History, principles, classical yoga texts, and philosophy.

Human Anatomy, Physiology, and Therapeutic Applications
- Body systems, biomechanics, pathology, and yoga-based interventions.

Yoga Therapy for Physical and Lifestyle Disorders
- Therapeutic approaches for musculoskeletal, cardiovascular, metabolic, respiratory, and chronic conditions.

Yoga Therapy for Mental Health and Emotional Well-being
- Stress management, anxiety, depression, mindfulness, meditation, and psychological applications.

Research Methodology and Evidence-Based Yoga Therapy
- Research design, data analysis, ethics, literature review, and scientific writing.

Clinical Practice, Integrative Medicine, and Professional Ethics
- Clinical case studies, integrative healthcare models, patient assessment, ethics, and professional practice.

Research Requirements

Submission of Two (2) Research Papers in the field of Yoga Therapy or Integrative Health.
Submission of One Doctoral Thesis/Dissertation based on original research.

Evaluation

Evaluation Test I: Comprehensive assessment covering Modules 1–3.
Evaluation Test II: Comprehensive assessment covering Modules 4–6.

Award

Candidates who successfully complete all six modules, pass the two evaluation tests, submit the required research papers, and successfully defend their doctoral thesis will be awarded the Doctor of Yoga Therapy (DYTh) degree.
